    Lol. Thanks guys. I'm not trying gir sexlink chicks. I'm more concerned with getting all blsck chicks. I like variety. So if he gives me a couple of barred hens I'll be happy.

    I also love crossing crisses. My fear is to get all similar brownish chickens. I want as much variety as possible. And I love knowing the the mottled gene is recessive. That means even more surprises and variety down the road.

    I got her at a fair here in portugal. At first I saw the markings and thought bantam Columbian but then I saw her body and tail and knew I was dead wrong.

    If he is a Delaware mix does that mean that all his offspring will be barred no matter what color the hen is?
