    When living over seas, the Durian truck would roll down the street and the ladies ran out of there house, me along side them, to size up the fruit! It is an acquired taste. The hotels would not allow people to bring it in to their establishment, due to the smell.

    I have two hens that go broody in my main pen. One hen is a lousy mother and leaves her chicks to fend for themselves too; I gave her away to a friend. The other hen, is only 1 year old and has great instincts in mothering, every chick she has she brings up with doting love.

    I to love eating fuyu persimmons. Sometimes I cannot wait until the insides are soft and will start with them crispy. Put soft and transparent are the best!
