we go in nightly and make sure everyone is settled in and in their places. My polishes live in the house of fluff. Two of them Rick and Bonus Jovi both females like sleeping outside on the tomatoes plants. We take em and move them to the house of fluff and to their proper roost As it is really...
Sammie and Crystal are best of friends with all my polishes especially with Perscilla my white polish who is picked on. I noticed too that Sammie my oldest favorelle is the only bird who can go flock to flock with out worry. The large birds whom she was raised with don't bother her or peck her...
I don't know if anyone answered you but what we did for Perscilla was cut front and side feathers around the eyes even those cute check feathers. It helped now she raise her head back looks and goes. Kinda like that kid whose hair is always in their eyes or when you pull you hat over the eyes.
I don't know about anyone else but I had to completely separate my white polish from the flock 8 of which she had been with since a day old. 4 polish 1 salmon favorelle which came a month later. Since the majority of the 9 started laying they started terrorizing Perscilla so much so she hide I...
gave Prescilla a bath tonight and discovered this on both eyes this eye was worse then the other. She is my only polish with a large puff that covers the eyes. So my question is what is this an how do I remove it safely and painlessly. It is not make up nor skin pigmentation.
Mine limps now and then. We caged him and ALl of sudden he had no limp. I read too they will limp to get the attention of a predator long enough for hens to get away.
I have two also raised about a month apart but since the younger one joined the flock the hang out alot. But generally the older one hangs with me and my oldest polish

I have a large mix and I would have to say that my polish are more friendlier and easier to handle then any of em. I tell my girl to stay on my shoulder and she does just that she gardens with me and stays close. Comes to my voice. Now my flavorelle does not like to be handled but she loves to...
