    Just to throw my two cents in also. Just because you saw them mate doesn't mean the egg is fertile. The hen can hold his sperm for up to 14 days before letting it fertilize the egg.     Take a hardware lamp (in tool isle at Wal-mart, the one with the silver thing around the bulb) it will clip onto anything and turn that bad baby on. Works every time.     If they are in a pin, throw some powdered lime in the coop and pin. That's what I do and it also helps on the flies. The lime is also good for them.
