11 eggs made it to lockdown in the bator lastnight. I have seen 4 fuzzy butts poking there heads out from under my mother hen. I'm so happy hers are hatching. We had some strong winds turn our ckn tractor on its side last week. So, I was afraid they wouldn't make it.
I don't know how you are candling your eggs but I used to candle with mine up and down (large end up small end down.) When I started candling sideways it made a world of difference in what I can see, especially the farther along the development gets.

Most definitely mix. If you're partial to 3 different breeds then you will keep adding to the flock until you have them all...then you discover 3 more breeds that you would love to have...that's just how it works !
