I have updates for you guys!!
I processed off two of the boys and kept my silver Cockerel. I finally got two eggs to hatch from my eggs, both offspring are pure white. Hoping for some pullets!!!
Hi everyone! Just wanted to show off a photos of our favorite cream legbar grow-out. <3 So far we have 1 cockerel and 3 pullets from different breeder's flocks. :D Hoping to expand my numbers by just a few more once these lovely ladies come of age.
I missed this somehow; I did keep him but I am planning on using him for my breeding plans this year. After he breeds and I need to rotate boys, I wouldn't mind passing him along to your flock. :-)

Out of our 4 boys we *finally* rehomed two of the Gold Wheatens. One had a lot of red leakage in his crest for a gold, the other exhibited poor color. We kept both...
...crowers. Hoooooooooooly moooooooooly sometimes they drive me nuts. But when you have 4 cockerels over 2 pullets, that tends to happen.
I *know* we need to lean down our boys, but the lack of processing supplies / a local butcher is killing me. I miss having a facility within ten minutes of...
Hey guys!
Sorry for the lack of updates, we've been so incredibly busy with the start of spring it's been hard to find the time/energy to write a full blog post. I'll try my hardest to update tonight!
Thank you for that input @Kev ! I have been just itching to get something comparable...
That always happens with me. Last time it was disastrous (we received three bloodied trampled barbezieux chicks...apparently the post office received our chicks in the afternoon but didn't call us until the next day.... a literal nightmare, I've since learned to befriend your post master for the...
