I use a big feeder that holds some 200lbs of feed. I filled it two weeks ago and after two weeks, i feel like i still have 200lbs of feed left.
Do they eat less.
They did get all the Xmas and new years leftovers

My rabbit hutch is the 10x13 foot area under the chicken coop that is raised 3 feet off the gound. The opening to the hutch is 4"x6" and the rabbits and chickens share the same run.
What i am finding is that during the day, some of my girls will go into the rabbit hutch and eat the rabbit...
We keep it all in the coop.
We fashioned a chimney on the outside of the coop and that became the feeded, and we have a pipe in the coop that circulates water 24/7 from an underground barrel source, that brings water to the coop and rabbit hutch under the coop. The water system is not movable...
Ours is down a hill from the house. The hill slops down some 60 feet and the chicken coop ends up being about 250 feet away.
We can see them in the run from our dining room window, and they are far enough to never have any odor.
