puffed up and not eating or drinking much

Encourage her to drink the Mixed Corid Water. If she's not drinking well, then you can give her a direct oral drench of undiluted Liquid Corid at a rate of 0.10ml per pound of weight twice a day for 3 days. This is in Addition to her drinking the Mixed Corid water throughout the day or you...

    Chickens very ill

Do you see any lice or mites on her? When was her last egg? What do you feed, including treats? What's her poop like? Photos? I'd check her crop to make sure its emptying overnight, make sure to look for mites/lice. If she's not laid eggs and should have, start her on 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3...

Poo patrol, I need your help

How old is she? Has she been having any difficulties with egg laying or shell quality? I agree, I'd treat for worms. The Toltrazuril is a good idea too. I see quite a lot of mucous and urates, some bubbles and perhaps intestinal shedding. If you see any more of the material I have circled...

    My chicken is sick!

Welcome To BYC How old is she? Do you have photos? The crop is not emptying, you'll want to address that symptom according to the article below. Feed her some wet mush feed and try to get the medications into her the Vet Prescribed. If she's not been laying eggs and should have, then I'd...

    Prolapsed vent…again..and going on vacation

I'm sorry about your hen. Sounds like you have a pretty good plan. Spraying with Vetericyn and apply ointment to keep the tissue from drying out is a good idea. Are you also giving extra calcium? If not, I'd at least give that until you leave. I would not keep a hen with a prolapse in...

Prolapse Phallus- 4 1/2 year old Drake

Welcome To BYC I'm sorry about your Duck. I don't have any of them, but this is the info I have saved for your situation. You may want to read through it while waiting for the Duck Experts to chime in. If you can also provide photos since the tissue seems to be damaged or dying, this may...

    Mistake Deworming: Next Steps?

I'd give both hens the dewormer, it won't hurt them, then repeat in 10days. If I need to deworm, I go out early with my preloaded syringes. Take a hen off the roost, dose her, then put her in the floor or maybe in open the pop door and make her go out into the run. Maybe you can coral/pen...

Chicken is so sick I have no idea what to do. I notice her walking like a penguin being more still. She is eating and drinking.

Were you able to get more photos? If this is under the Vent, then likely its Flystrike. Continue to care for it like you are doing (wound care, checking for maggots too). If it's the Vent itself, is she able to poop? When was the last egg? Care for the Vent by keeping it coated with...

Sinus Infection? Swelling of the Face.

If these are from yesterday/today, then I agree, it still looks like she has sinus infection. If you look inside the beak at the roof of her beak, is the choanal slit clear of mucous or debris?

7 m/o Hen Heavy Breathing, Fever?

Have you looked inside her beak for any obstruction, canker or lesions? Have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock? It's hard to know what's going on with her. If the crop has been emptying for 4days prior, the crop now being slow is a symptom of whatever underlying condition...

Sick Hen. No appetite, Green poop? (Pictures) start corid?

If she's been eating, the crop would feel more full. Try to encourage her to eat her normal feed if possible.

    Poop question

A change in feed could cause some different poops until they get accustomed to it. I'm not sure what you'd do to boost immunity. Fresh water, fresh nutritionally balanced feed, oyster shell, grit (crushed granite) and the occasional treat if they are cooped should be all that's really needed.

Sick Hen. No appetite, Green poop? (Pictures) start corid?

She looks like she feels very poorly. The poop doesn't look good, it looks to have yolk and/or albumen in it. She may be suffering from a reproductive issue or is having shell quality issues or hard to know. I'd start her on 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 now, then once daily for a week. Corid...

7 m/o Hen Heavy Breathing, Fever?

How much Calcium did you give? I'd give her Calcium once daily for a few days to see if she's able to expel an egg or lash material. Work on hydration, see if she will drink sips of electrolytes or sugar water. What's her crop feel like? Photos of her and her poop would be good. Have...

Pullet or Cockerel? 12 week Chocolate Orpington

Looks like a pullet to me. Her feathers are being plucked and nipped. Check her for lice/mites and observe to see if she's plucking at herself or other birds are doing it to her.

Sick silkie with Fowl Pox, next steps

A very bad odor along with lesions, mucous, etc. inside the beak may be Canker. Treatment is with Metronidazole. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/breath-that-would-knock-a-donkey-on-its-ass%F0%9F%98%86.1671023/post-28747494
