I have 4 hens and a rooster for 3 years. One of the hens is sick. She’s weak, can’t jumps to top of roost to sleep. I see her eat, drink, but her crop isn’t emptying. she’s really really thin now. I put her in a separate cage in my house. I took her to a vet, confirmed she didn’t have worms, gave her scrips for amoxicillin and cisipride with instructions not to give her solid food for couple days. I gave her water and probiotics and electrolytes with a syringe. She seemed to be better, so I put her back out with the chickens 3 days ago. She’s still sick, so I’ve got her in the house with me again. She’s so thin. Can anyone help me with advice?

This might be a dumb suggestion, but might she be broody? Broody chickens won't roost and wont eat much and will get very thin. Any photos of her? Any hunched position/ruffled or very rough looking feathers, pale comb? Have you checked her vent?

Also, it's not generally recommended to put a chicken back into the flock if it's not completely healed from any illness. Some illnesses are fatally contagious and very risky if you contaminate the rest of the flock

None of the chickens have been laying for about 2 weeks now, don’t know why, so I don’t think she’s broody. Her comb has flopped down, feathers don’t have a sheen to them. Oh, and she has diarrhea! I’m at a loss of what to do.

Vent seems to be clear of an egg.

My chicken is sick. She is weak, can’t hop up to roost at night. Her crown has gone limp. I see her eat and drink, but she is really skinny. Her crop has food, water in it. I isolated her, took her to a vet that gave me a script of cisipride and amoxicillin to help her. I couldn’t get but a little amoxicillin down her, got all cisipride down her. I used a syringe to get water and probiotics, electrolytes down her. I gave her solid feed, cottage cheese, cantaloupe after a couple days. She seemed to be doing better so I put her out with the other chickens a couple days ago. I’ve kept an eye on her and she’s back to looking, acting sick again. There’s a rooster in the coop with my 4 hens. He’s been jumping on her back and dancing around her. I’m scared he and the other chickens will start attacking her, so I don’t know what to do to save her. It cost $200 for the vet last time. I can’t afford it again. Can anyone please advise me?

Welcome To BYC

How old is she?
Do you have photos?

The crop is not emptying, you'll want to address that symptom according to the article below.

Feed her some wet mush feed and try to get the medications into her the Vet Prescribed.

If she's not been laying eggs and should have, then I'd also give her 300mg Calcium Citrate +D3 once daily for a few days to see is she's able to expel an egg or material.

If needed, place her within a kennel or crate inside the coop or run with her own food/water so she's near the flock but the rooster is not harassing her so much. Alternatively, move the rooster to another pen for a period of time while she heals. You do want her near the flock so integration is not quite so difficult.
