    That looks a bit like a Columbian Wyandotte to me. Though someone else said Brahma, which could be more likely since it has fuzzy feet.

    This is the first feather legged batch of ducklings I have ever seen. Only 1 came from a muscovy shell. I have been having very strange hatch this year. Last month's hatch had major birth defects. Alligator and cleft bill. One even had its brain on the outside. Maybe it's something in the water???

    This is my second season with most of them. They all came from a hatchery but some are for sure related from last year's hatch. I guess I didn't realize that it only took one generation to cause mutations. I thought it would have to be an ongoing thing like with dogs.

    Does anyone know what causes this? Baby was born a few hours ago. Im thinking maybe the patents were too closely related. Im told that while on vacation a couple weeks ago, we had 7 others (all incubated) who were born worse than this but none lived. It's name is "Croc"

    I have a couple dozen Musvovy ducks. Other than one blue and one white, i have chocolate, beetle sheen black (black with green & purple sheen), and pied. I also have a couple dozen non-muscovy. But no matter what any of them cross with, I never ger a white or blue baby. :(
