VIDEO ADDED!!! My 4 day old duckling, I believe is 1/2 runner, 1/2 Ancona, yesterday had an enlarged eye, which was practically glued shut. I used a q-tip and drop of water to remove the crust and saw a large bubble looking spot. I applied a slight pressure and it shot liquid out. It's eye is not white with a black center. It's ok, but the troubling part is that Scarface also has a crooked neck. It's like when you try to unwind a slinky and and it twists the wrong way. Well, I tried applying a sight pulling his head away from his body to straiten his neck, and he falls asleep.. otherwise he was just flopping around. Today, he is sort of getting used to the angle, and sleeping all day. I held his head strait, showed him his food with his good eye, and he took 2 or 3 bites, and i dipped his bill in water, then held his head up so he could swallow. but I cant do this for ever. I believe his eye is probably infected so I gave the little guy a shot with the smallest needle I have. It was hard to find a good place for it since he has no meat yet, but I got a place on this leg and gave him 1/4cc Spectam. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas what is causing this or how to fix it???
