    Been busy cleaning up old honey frames, will melt/ clean once all is gathered. hot frames using old windows on metal raised beds is keeping things warm enough, or the plants appear to be as such.

    Got my honey extracted. Letting the extractor "drip" down for the night. will clean out the rest tomorrow. Got mor things to do then time. Frustrating.

    @Sally PB From my understanding once the nectar has gone into then regurgitated out of the bee/bees into the cell, then the only step is to get the moisture content down below 18%. Note: going to low can cause an increase likelihood of the honey to crystalize.

    Picked another bag of cherry tomatoes, pulled the honey supers and put the honey under a tarp with a dehumidifier. I am slowly working on cleaning up the garden.

    A lot of work in it. Granted they have others harvesting the fallen nuts. The hulling, washing, drying, cracking, separation is all on them.

    Black walnuts seem to be a popular subject. Interesting tidbit about the black walnut world is that there really is only one major player who deals with them "Hammons" they will buy all you can bring to them, they really do not have any competitors that I am aware of.

    Got nearly 2" of rain yesterday, so the seeds I planted should have enough water for a time.

    Going to work on building a hot box, that will slip over the metal raised bed.

    Picked 6 Wally world bags of cherry tomatoes, cant eat that much, making friends with the community.

    I am going to try and either lay my figs over and cover them up, or built some kind of protective tent around them this year. They come back every year, but takes most of the year for them to do so.

    Black Walnut, good for staining clothes, traps. Shell has a few uses and the nut meat can be eaten raw, cooked, added to brownies, cookies, turned into cooking oil, and a type of liquor.

    Got a grandma and aunts, and a few uncles that did the whole canning run I just need the pressure canner and the know how.

    I did end up taking it, need the job, Position is one of the most stable in the company.

    Countless Cherry tomatoes picked. Still need to build the cold frames. Did end up losing my job, but was offered a new position same pay.

    Picked a bag full of Cherry tomatoes, and a bag of Asparagus beans.

    Pictures of the rain garden, also made two batches of meat loaf of which most went into the freezer for the time being.

    Harvested two loads of asparagus beans, and finished the 1st part of the rain garden to try and dry out the back yard.
