Hey every one! Long time no post, I have been super busy with work and trying to get a hobby farm started. Over the last few days a fox has taken almost my whole flock of layers. I have 15 and I am down to 6. The fox turned out to have rabies (we got it last night and fish and game had it tested...
Hey everyone, I am looking for a few laying hens (hopefully under a y1 1/2 years) around the Manchester area. I downsized my flock and am looking to build it back up. Any laying breed will do. I am located in New Boston.
...regular floor system (where the corners are square) the corners dig into the ground. But if you have two ends stuck out past the coop a foot or so and then cut a 45* angle on the end it wont catch on the ground if that makes any sense. I'm not great at describing what I'm thinking on the...
Will do! I'm hopefully going to start building Sunday. So we will see if I end up going bigger...my projects tend to end up becoming substantially bigger then planned...
I think I am going to build an 8x8 and build it on runners so I can drag it with the tractor/drag it on to my flat bed with the winch. I will have to start a new thread on building this coop! Thanks guys!
Moving the coops would not be a problem. I have the equipment to move the buildings (1 ton trucks, flat bed trailer, and bobcat with forks to lift it up) But yes I have thought of finding a trailer to build the coop on. Any one ever done that?
Thats actually not a bad idea. My girlfriend asked me if we can get more. (I only have 9 now. I had 30+ at one point) and of course I said yes so I think building a new coop is on the agenda!
So I havent been on her much as I have been super busy in the last year with my landscape company growing, and it has become the time that I move out of my parents house. (I am 20 years old) I rent a shop a town over from my parents now and the owner is building an aparntment above the garage...
Mine go out evey day. They are not bothered by the snow at all. And they wont get frost bite with 30* temps just make sure they can go inside if they do start to get cold.
Hi everyone, I went out to the coop this morning and I found one of my NH red hens eating an egg in the nest box. Is there anything I can do to break her of this? Or will I just have to deal with it and gather eggs earlier?
I know a few people with s10's, rangers, and dakotas. They all whish they had a full size once they see how my trucks do compaired to theres. I agree small trucks have there place but if your going to do any kind of real work you need a full size with at least a v8.
He is the kind of vet that really cares about his customers and the animals. I had a vet who was a total jerk to deal with, the vet I have now is just like Dr. Pol.
What happend two years ago?
My first truck was a 1994 f150 with the 5.0. I added a leaf spring in the rear and upgraded the coils in the front. I put a ton (2000 lbs) in the bed routinely. Right now I have a 2004 Chevy (also upgraded suspension) and I think the 94 f150 was better then this truck. I am 19 and I own a...
I own a landscape and home improvement company, I always have customers sign a contract. Even customers who have been working with me for a long time. It keeps things simple and every one is protected. Since he did have you sign a contract nor did you request one it would make me very worried as...
