Day 4 Duck eggs
Is it too soon to candle eggs? at day 4? ive had a little look and i can still see that all 6 eggs are still just yolk. i feel like i should start to see something- IrisJade

Turn or not to turn with shipped eggs
I just got some shipped duck eggs today in the incubator laying sideways some have some air saddles one sided. Should i keep the turner on or leave for a few days?- IrisJade

This was before adding antiseptic etc and it just looks like pure flesh after taking that brown bit off -

Update- So i have done the soak with the espom salt and it still roughly is the same how it was its like a scab slightly more yellow like its healing? ive got her some lil shoes to keep it clean but the Lump is still a worry -

Just makes me feel different cause theres a big lump looks abnormal like it should be released like a pimple no pus just blood and skin so maybe it's just blood? I don't want to pick more unless it is just blood in the lump so stopped. even squeezing. Nothing but blood I have picked away the... -

thanks for the reply im sort of confused as normally pus comes out but it seems just skin and blood under the brown scab not sure what to do or dig deeper? maybe its very little? not sure but the kernel is big seems just like blood and tissue under the brown bit -
