    I appreciate your response, I plan to spread it inside and outside my coop, in and around the run and most definitely around the perimeter of the house. You are so right, I didn't even think of fossils being water proof. I guess I need to read about it more.

    The millies were born on the 8th of June, so almost 7-8 wks. The last one is an easter egger, looks like a pullet, had hatched from a blue egg of a BYC breeder on the 31st of July.
