    Float valve in a 8 inch pvc tube with holes in it for their heads. Hose fitting on float end and viola, water on demand. Use screw on end caps and you can flush system by just st removing end oppositie hose and float.

    Things are calming down. Heat of day and all. I'm trying to figure out what I can do on no budget. The drakes big and strong, im gonna need reinforcing. Easiest it to add a friend in with her. If I have to bring her in, I'll get her a friend.

    Update: she is finally getting some good oil production going. The gland has been pretty dry and today it is oiled up and she is going to town spreading the oil. Not sure why oil production down, maybe to offset the needed nutrition to get weight back on? Either way...with oil on her...

    EMERGENCY: sick or injured duck please help!!

    Is her beak hot? Take her temp under her wing like a human under shoulder, not the best but gets a ballpark, never check temp in vent on bound poultry. 107 thereabouts under wingpit.
