Those look like feather sheaths from growing new feathers. They’ll eventually groom them off of their feathers. I don’t think there’s anything you need to treat unless you’ve actually seen moving insects.
I’ve actually done this in the past, actually my husband got the same vehicle I’d had previously. And yes, they were the same color. We only buy black vehicles.
