    They wouldn't have cared, with the people i have on mind. I have to be at work at 6 am, I get up at 4:30. Summer is fine, birds are up, bunnies are scurrying, the sky is bright. Winter? It's cold, there's ice on the road. Was that a shadow by my car or a bear?

    Is this product safe to use in my chicken coop?

    Permethrine is safe when used according to directions, but that may no longer be effective due to age. They may not be an appropriate choice for around livestock. You could get some elector psp,it's also effective for mites and "safer".

    Production reds can be sex linked, and if so, the males aren't red but whitish.

    Since it has 4x4 bracing, I would make a 3/4 door with plywood that's about 20" off the ground

    It sound more like a blockage, that caused some sour crop. Here's some information, I've not felt with this personally.

    A picture of your coop....sorry. You could build a wind break wall, you usually see them on dog houses. Does the wind only blow in when the door is open? Do they have a pop door?

    When you say "ballon of air" but the crop isn't hard or doughy, is it just really puffy? If it is, it might be a possible she has a blockage. Any bad smells? Is she a Cornish cross? Stop mixing the scratch in their feed, that's a myth and a false one as that.

    I would get some fresh product, I'm trying to read the lot number and I think it's a few year old. I reccomended getting some livestock aimed products.

    Frankly, If it was poisoning the eggs, it would have poisoned the chickens, so there wouldn't be any eggs. Why are you, a fourth party, calling the police? About what, exactly? You herd the information through a grapevine, it may not be remotely true. Glad you got your own chickens, that's nice...
