That's what I was thinking. They responded to the pink chicken thread that they are looking to create a true pink color like in other birds. That's not happening. So I left it alone.
Lavender dilutes both black and red. Blue only dilutes black.
Lavender would dilute buff maybe. Buff being a red based color. Not sure how the other diluters that make buff would interact with Lavender.
Ah, but lavender isn't really lavender its light gray but we call it lavender. 🙃 Its a buffish color they call Isabel or Isabella and is closest to pink one would ever get in chickens besides salmon.

The Isabella color is the closest to pink you can get in chickens. Its achieved by diluting the Golds and reds with the lavender gene.
Also the salmon color.
