Nice to know more about you Heidi. Love the variety of chicken breeds you have. They're all so pretty. I think your sebright is a hen. I've had a crowing hen. A little d'uccle hen. It's adorable and frightening all at the same time. :)

I have one molting too with similar temperatures expected. As long as you have other chickens she will sit close to them if necessary. Just watch, and if you see any signs she's not doing well you may want to bring her in for a short while.
Barb that is quite a bit more snow than what we have. It does make everything more difficult. Sounds like you had pretty strong winds too. That's no fun. We saw some tracks of a single coyote trotting around our property. They haven't bothered us in a while. Hope they stay away.
As long as they aren't crowded or raised with more assertive breeds you should be okay. I have a bunch here and they are doing fine, well except being in the way because they don't see me coming.
