    Thanks for the ideas!! So far she’s been doing great adjusting to everything. She’s eating and drinking and we put her outside for a few hours a day when we’re home and it’s dry.

    My dog vet was willing to look at her for me. They’re a great group of people! Thank you so much for the sling idea! We are currently picking her up and putting her food/water near her. I don’t kno how she doesn’t it, but she gets around some!

    We took Stella to the vet and found out her leg was broke in 3 places. Still not sure how it happened but the vet out a splint on hoping it will help her heal. She’s currently an ‘inside’ chicken until she gets used to the splint and is able to move around better. So far she’s still eating...

    I'm still not sure where the injury is. No bones are sticking out. While I was holding her my husband felt around and gently pulled out the leg. He says he feels a 'click'. When he does that she does pull the leg back into her. I'm not sure if it's by the knee or up further to where it...

    I've noticed the past week or so one of my hens is acting really strange. She's keeping her head down and walking backwards. She will keep her head down and back into the wall. She doesn't do it all the time, but it's enough to make me worry. Any suggestions?
