i use a corrugated roof for my chicken coop run. this way the sunlight comes through and they are secure. slope it as such so that when it snows the snow can slide off as it melts.

Have been tired of working on the coop. So I have been slacking. But this weekend. I worked on it for one hour. This is what I did. Put on the trickle charger. The solar panel is on there clamped to the battery for the drawbridge.

This is extra corrugated roofing that i have. I put it on the back of the coop instead of painting or putting siding. What do you think?

This is a picture of the chickens through the clear corrugated roof. I like this idea because it is easier than shingles. And doesn't allow any water to get in so no mud.
