Never regretted any of my boys, though I never had a bad one and there are bad ones out there. Two of the three where irritatingly loud and screechy but they where my boys regardless. One even hated my mother who'd meander to my coop sometimes and he knew I fully believe I didn't want her near...
Of course they can be 'saved', people that cull at the first sign of disease have other motives I fully believe and there is nothing wrong with that. I'm not into egg production, meat or anything else other then having them as pets so I tend to at least try. I can't give you a great outcome...
My precious Bunting is 9 years old and doing exceptional, though everyday I get home I 'fear' I'll find her not well. She's OLD for a chicken and still perfect in my eyes~
Typically its just verify venting is appropriate and adequate and preventing winds, i.e. plastic sheathing around the run. May want to invest in a water heater for their needs as it will be less bothersome for you. I always used chopped straw for run material to keep their toes off the cold...
You'd have to get a wide spectrum antibiotic that can be in powder or liquid and injectable form. I don't know what brands off hand. While you're treating, feather baby should also be on a probiotics regiment. Ensure proper ventilation when they are in the coop as well, check for damp and moldy...
Hasn't laid in four days
Negative for mites, lice...put her on a dewormer a few hours ago, Safeguard.
She's also being hand fed probiotics and ACV.
Examination found no bumps, lumps or hard spots in abdomen.
Thanks so much for the reply!
You're off to a good start, often chemicals and the like kill adults but not eggs. So removing bedding etc and exposing those areas to the open air is good, they can't stand it. ACV won't kill them, its better for other nasties. Ammonia may work but won't kill everything but it can't hurt to do...

I read this a lot about ermine sizes and I feel its comes down to human error and 'gestimation' of the hole in question. They're sneaky little things and I'm very confident in saying it was indeed an ermine that did these attacks. 1" possibly and its recommended to use 1/2" or less.
Like mentioned above I don't think its a straight 'bully just to bully' situation. Chickens have a very brutal social system and often times weak, odd and sick birds are singled out so they can be effectively 'removed' from the main flock. Based on what you described, what's your coop/run...
Really cool article, my only argument is about BJG's...mine is eight years old and the only issue I've had is a prolapsed vent that she fixed herself and was put on a low fat diet. Maybe she's just a super hatchery bird I don't even know. I'd just add a lot of the sex link types seem to have an...
