I live in South Carolina, we have had a lot of rain and my eggs get dirty. I wash mine in warm water and use my fingers to remove the mud and poop. Then dry them and put them in the frig. I don't like to leave mine set with stuff on them and then wash them before I use them. Because like...
I'm sorry, these are full grown and I wouldn't ship them. I did get them from Ideal poultry in Texas though. I have ordered from them before and always get good stock
In the Greenville, South Carolina area. I have 11 Delaware Hens and a rooster I need to find new homes for. All hens are laying and rooster is good to take care of them. They were all hatched Jan 27 all are healthy. Would like $10.00 a piece for the hens and 8 for the Rooster
I had the same problem, when you switch from a crumble to pellets they just don't like the change. I started feeding mine laying crumbles and they were fine with that
I buy from a local small mill it is ALL natural feed and its 17% I get it for $8.25 for layer can't call it organic that I know of but they grow their own crops to mix it with. It does have the minerals that is required for protein and I have been really please with it
I don't mind killing or cleaning the insides of the chickens, I just hate to pluck them. I think I will have a chicken party and invites some friends over to help pluck them on the halves

I posted this before with no takers. I have about 10 Delaware roosters They were hatched on Jan 27th from Ideal Poultry. They are just starting to crow and are good size. Have been feeding them grower starter and they are in good health. But they are eating me out of house and home make...

We live in the country and I have killed Black snakes, chicken snakes and Copper heads all going after eggs. I hate to kill any snake but when they are after my eggs and chicks I will get rid of them.
From my experience as a contractor you probaly have moisture on the floor. Because when they poured the concrete they did not put plastic down under the concrete. The plastic is a moisture barrier. They normally put the plastic in slab foundations for homes but not carports garages and out...
If you put them together they will be ok. At that age they seem to accept other chicks about the same age. As far as not growing you probably have the runt of the litter so be patient. It may not grow as big as the others but it will be fine. Mother Nature sometimes does this
