Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there. Without my father, I would not have a love for the outdoors, digging in the earth or raising all types of animals.
I thought I would add a couple of things to this thread. I have found an enormous amount of awesome information here, although I will admit that I did not read all 16 pages. I called my vet friend because I'm afraid we are starting on this journey with one of our turkeys. Besides what she was...
It seems like ones coop never really is completely "done". I know we are always tweaking this or changing that. Vicious cycle that never ends, but we enjoy the adventure.
I did find a non GMO supplier list for the entire United States. The link is in my last post for this thread. I wonder if she would be able to find what she needs through that?

2. Ventilation is a must for good air and circulation.
3. In-coop area or place to section off new, sick or broody hens.
4. Dedicated water supply...whether it be a separate hose, water spout...
We live in southern Mississippi now. I've seen critters and bugs that would scare the crap out of people up north in Illinois where I lived for 17 years. It seems things get nastier the further south you go. The flies are huge and those ants don't play! Thanks goodness for my essential oils or...
