In case anyone else ever wondered...

Well i don't have chickens i have ducks lol. They do free range the yard a few hours a day and eat all kinds of things... Including my frog friends 🫣 But i don't think they are as good at eating the ticks as chickens are. I do not need any more birds to take care of! 😐

I think what i been seeing are those five lined skinks. It says hatchlings and young adults have blue tails.

It's been pouring all night and half the morning here. Imma gettin pretty tired of it to be honest.. but. When it shuts off it'll probably shut off for too long so I'm trying to be grateful 🤪

Also... if that was a spotted salamandar, How's come it didn't appear to have any spots? That's where i was confused on the ID. We have a bunch of those little blue tailed things i thought were lizards. But after going down the salamander rabbit hole I'm thinking they are skinks. I'll have...

Maybe you can answer this for me. we're starting to get ticks in the yard. I've been afraid to spray because i didn't know if it would hurt my frog friends. Any idea?

I tried to google ID it but i wasn't sure which one it was. 🤷‍♀️ I also have this big @ZZ toad that comes up on the porch almost every night lol

Whoah! You really got it. We were under severe threats again last night but nothing happened here.

That is the down side to having any animials. Where we live now i at least have my sis in law, we do chores for each other occasionally. But we both have a busy life and sometimes things come up when she isn't available or vice versa.

Wind has been vicious. No rain or storm yet. But we do have a nader watch.

I wore my nader jammies and went to bed. Phones were blaring as well as my alexa devices giving me warnings. Mason was scared to death as usual. My boss called and told me to take cover so i pulled the blankies over my head. We didn't have any damage luckily. Just another torrential downpour...
