I shredded a carrot that was too soft for my taste. Mixed in some dried oatmeal and they
liked it.
Later in the day, I gave them some scratch and mixed in some boss. They went CRAZY
for that.
Have found a few new treats (thanks to this thread) that my girls like.

Well the dried corn on the cob remains in the run. However, I threw romaine lettuce in the run with the leaves attached to the core. When I got home hours later, there was no sign of the lettuce or the core. Guess they know what they like.

The Hen - if it's like the broccoli water I give my girls, it's just water I used to steam the broccoli - let it cool. The girls sucked that up in no time.
Ours LOVED a bag of crickets that I dumped into the tractor - They didn't know what was going on at first and then their chickeness kicked in. It was great to see them having so much fun during their first winter. Happy pullets, poor little crickets .
