I bought him at Tractor Supply in bucket with assorted bantams. I was thinking he was gonna be a white cochin but am afraid he's a frizzle. What do y'all think?

No matter what we do, something kills our chickens. I really am starting to think about surrendering and just stopping raising chickens. I just can't take the heart break.
Hey everybody,
I ordered 17 straight-run Cochin, Sebright, Japanese, Old English Game bantams a few weeks ago. Im not sure how many are roosters yet but my guess is, there will definitely be multiples.
My question is: Are those breeds pretty aggressive with one another if they live in the...
Hey everybody,
Here is my August 2018 setup!
We live Conyers, Georgia (30 miles east of Atlanta) on 5 acres of land.
We currently have 5 buff Cochins Bantams, 2 barred Cochin Bantams, 2 blue Cochin Bantams, 1 red Cochin Bantam, 1 golden laced Cochin Bantam, 2 silver Sebright Bantams, 2 black...
Hey everybody,
I ordered 18 straight run bantams from McMurray Hatchery. 3 are Silkies, 2 are Sebrights, 2 are Japanese Bantams and the rest are Cochin Bantams. They are 3 weeks old and I'm starting to notice a lot of squaring up and getting in each others faces. Is this a sign of a lot of...

Any tricks aside from having a good pen? I’m open to any suggestions. I have a new flock of bantams that want to last.

Ive been out of state for the past two months and since I've been gone my Old English Game rooster really matured into a beautiful rooster.
Since he has matured he developed a white piece of skin (similar to that of a White Faced Black Spanish) on his cheek.
Is this normal for...
Are predators just worse in the south? I live in Georgia and free ranging chickens is completely unheard of for longer than a few months. Our pens have to be totally secured also, with a roof and an underground fence. Between foxes, raccoons, hawks, owls, coyotes, weasels and snakes there is...
Any ideas? I got them from Tractor Supply this afternoon. The buff one looks like a silkie (it has black skin) but I’m not sure. Lemme know what y’all think!
Thanks, Ben
