@Wyorp Rock
Wanted to update you with some great news.
My Speckled Sussex infection is better with normal eat/drinking and normal poop. I have integrated her back into the coop and this has been trial and error for sure- man chickens are absolutely cruel to the weak. She still has an...
Sorry can’t help out.
Just checking in from Prairieville. My 11 hens did well through the cold weather- water bucket froze.. I had one that had a lash egg and was sick for 2weeks- she is limping now but much much better. Have to separate her, the other chickens are fricking monsters at...
Dang…
I should have taken a picture but it looks just like the smaller lash egg pictures in the links you provided. Kinda makes sense too, that she was very sick (I was giving her Corid and Tylan200), and she recovered after she passed a yellowish substance the size of your thumb nail.
And...

Some good news…some bad news.
Good news- I believe she is back to normal. A couple days ago, after a warm soaking bath, she passed some gunk and it looked like a big piece of hominy corn. I do not feed corn so I think, maybe she had some issues in her reproductive egg making...

This 12mil Harbor Freight tarp is doing fantastic so far…I finished this early August so the tarp itself was exposed to 100+ hot weather many times in August. Now mind you, it is shaded by large oak trees during the direct 11-3 hot parts of the day.
We’ve had some seriously windy bad weather...
Almost two weeks now.
She still has white/green diarrhea from time to time but also has solid green poop with a white cap too. All in all, she is somewhat a little better but not much. I wrap her in a towel and take her in the coop with the other hens to liven up her day.
I am a new chicken...
Well how about that?!?!
I received my little pullets in mid July are they are about 5 1/2 months old. Everyone keeps asking me “do you have any eggs yet??” I tell them no, and prob won’t until Spring comes around because it gets dark at 5pm.
Well I was happily surprised this Christmas Day...
@Wyorp Rock
I increased oral intake Corid today.
Just got Safeguard this morning- gave a pea size dallop per oral today.
At least now there is no longer diarrhea, the poop is formed but still dark green with a white cap.
I am thankful the weekend is approaching…I will keep you updated...
She is not independently drinking water so I am giving oral .40ml pure Corid daily.

@microchick
I know you are not a vet but I feel you are fully qualified to answer my questions…plus I know a lot of extremely smart nurses.
So I started with 11 hens last July- all different breeds:
EE
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Golden Laced Wyandotte
Blue Laced Wyandotte
Speckled Sussex
Copper...
She’s went from laying down, head in chest fully ruffled/shaking to pecking around some. She is not going to the feeder too eat, only what is sprinkled around her. Every now and then she will get up and drink water.
Other than that, I open her mouth and place watered down mash in her beak. I...
Thank you very much…I promise that I have searched and researched the shat out of this….you post here seems to explain it better. No vet options here.
I have been giving 1-2 syringe drops in her mouth which is close to .10ml. I need to give more since that is suppose to be per pound. So I...
I have a 6month old Speckled Sussex hen that is withdrawn, lethargic and pooping pasty white dark green poop going on 6days. I have her quarantined in the garage and must hand force feed her crumble mash and water.
Started and she is on her 4th day of two pea drops of Corid in her mouth...
Thank you…
So in essence one could use Poultry Cell for all issues instead of Liquid B12?
Is there any specific reason to use Liquid B12 over Poultry Cell?
