Takes me 2-3 minutes per bird, and that's from out of cage to back in the cage. But there's food and water restrictions before, and a week's healing after...
@shawn3295 I typically throw a cross or two in with my basque hatches just to have a 'hybrid vigor ruler' to measure them against. Haven't done JGs, but yes with Australorps and the cross pullet are great egg layers.
I've had such a low hatch rate this spring, I'd be embarrassed to ship. My third setting is out this past weekend, so I should have started pullets on into the summer.
