I have one. It was a brief episode as a chick and has never recurred. Her head would fall and she would scuttle backwards until she hit something, then flop wildly for a second and walk away as if nothing happened.

Look up chicken epilepsy. As long as he's behaving normally otherwise and isn't wildly flapping during his performance, I'd just keep an eye on him.

Looks like a pullet to me. No pointy hackle or saddle feathers (probably wouldn't show at 6 weeks anyway), no color in the comb or wattles, very horizontal carriage. If this is a cockerel, it hasn't started puberty yet.

The young cockerel hasn't figured out tit-bitting. 😅 I gave them blueberries today as a treat. He found one and excitedly called the girls, then ate it before they could. The three older girls want nothing to do with him, but the POL pullets are acting like his groupies.

At 4 months I would say definitely pullet. However, could you get a full body shot to verify?
