I've not recorded our girl, but our buff Orpington, Mama, is SO LOUD and she goes into our coop where it echos and sings her heart out. She kinda sounds like she's dying lol but she's not! Lolol she's just voisterous lol
Light Brahma, we have four of them and four Buff Brahmas, our sweetest and most laid back of all our flock (we're secretly looking for different colors of Brahmas) lol
Mostly true. We had four, three were bullies and rehomed. The one we have left talks and sings (she gets in the coop where it echoes and tries her hardest to outdo an opera singing) but she's always right there and friendly and following you around, just pretty much chill (now our Brahmas are...
Lol we are waiting patiently lol the other pullets from this hatch still have super pale combs, and this one is in between the pullets and our known roos on size and color lol
12 weeks old. Still stumped. Lol
Acts like our other two from same hatch, so idunno lol only one of the other two is crowing. This one's comb is between size/color of the other known pullets/cockerel lol we'll see when and if we get an egg lol
Yup ours is an light socket camera but we enjoy spying on them. Luckily our coop/pen is near house so we have power. Found a corded lightbulb socket for a laview camera. Works great so far!
We mix sand with peat moss and the girls love it
Eta not sure where your located but our local tsc, Walmart, and hardware stores carry it in big 2cubic ft or 3 cubic feet bags that are more like boxes or bricks lol
Our EE roos aren't too old yet, 11 weeks now, but Doofenshmirtz and Mister are learning to live under a bunch of hens lol
Doofenshmirtz is crowing (ish lol) he is still squeaky lol and he coos at food for the girls
Doofenshmirtz is the red one (blue wheaten Ameraucana(BWA) dad x...
Hopefully yours will be super friendly! Ours just seemed like nut jobs from the get go. Even as chicks they were a bit bonkers. That's why we thought maybe there was something wrong or off with them. We've generally only heard good things about them, that's why we had a few. Just because ours...
Out of our four we had, three became bullies and no idea as to why. When we removed them from the flock the dynamic changed instantly and a calm settled over the other girls. It was weird. We had figured maybe they were maybe too inbred? They always laid funky shaped eggs no matter what we did...
We just went through hell week of broodies. Four different black Australorps decided to test the waters last Monday and Tuesday. Then last Thur two of our olive eggers and our Mama on Saturday (good Orpington we let hatch twice).
All BAs were back out by Friday, I think, and Goldie and Mama...
