No she's already buried. I'm 99% positive it was a tumor. It literally doubled in size in a week. When she went blind...that's when it pretty much convinced me it was a tumor.
Well we put her down last night. Her poor eye literally double in size, she went blind, and was in pain. We even tried Tylan 200 just to be sure. It had to of been a tumor, it responded to nothing. She was only 10 months old, poor sweet girl.
Well I guess because her little eye is getting worse. I just want to make sure I can try to help her as much as I can. I'm not even sure if me treating her will help, but it's the least I can do.

Can you help me figure this out?? I'm not sure how much to give one bird. I can't find any mg/kg. only grams.
Im going to try this otherwise my only other option is to put her down. I have started to warm compress it and flush it with saline. The vet gave me metronidazole ...
I do believe that it needs to be removed.

Kathy....if I send you better pictures of her eye can you send them to your vet in davis?? Is that a possibility?? If not I completely understand. :) just let me know.
I'm wondering if it's puss, but I'm not sure. It's not getting bigger and she's still acting normal. But the vet seemed pretty positive it's a tumor of some sort. I dunno, only time will tell. :/
Well it's been two in a half weeks and her eye is still swollen. The vet is now thinking a tumor. Which it very well could be. She is still eating and drinking acting happy, so I will just wait it out until she gets worse.
What do you guys think?? If it is tumor would it be a Mereks type...
Me too....it's her conjunctiva that's swollen. She just goes at her poor eye with her foot!! She needs a chicken e collar...lol. Now that would be some picture. ;)
