:old I’m glad that I only have one broody to chicken-sit. The rest of the tribe is normal (if you consider my chooks normal)
But be careful how you say “Chicken-sit”
As my broody Xzit has taught me, I don’t mess with occupied nest boxes. If a hen has occupied one I let them be. (Unless it’s for their health reasons)
Drones who invade the sanctity of a private property, where the reasonable person would consider private; the last thing the drone would see on my property would be the business end of my shotgun. Thankfully no one near me has or can afford a drone! :D
I opened up the run to let the little ones out to check out the yard. They all stayed in there instead. I noticed that they probably saw the several cats across the yard. I wasn’t going to leave them alone in the yard, until they grew up some more. But they were all happy staying in the run.
This little Wyandottey Cockerel is a smart little guy. I picked up my keys from the desk, he ran over to me as if to ask “are we going into town again?” :gig
I’m confessing, I went out to the coop, and brought my little Wyandottey into the house. A little rooster bonding time with him today. Later I will spend time with latitude .
