I’m confessing, I went out to the coop, and brought my little Wyandottey into the house. A little rooster bonding time with him today. Later I will spend time with latitude .

I do wish there were more interesting things in the sky over here. There's pipelines on my property so the pipeline airplanes come flying over, but some of them are nosy and fly over my house to see what's up. Other than that, there are a few passenger jets really high up.I like seeing those big jets fly over - freak the horses out and send the chickens running for cover.
I hope they have the Hornets (? Is that what they call them?) fly over tomorrow. They usually make their run from Borden out to over the lake, then loop back for a couple more passes, my place is right on their flight path, extremely noisy!
Last year the poor chickens stayed in the barn after they flew over. Terrified them! Darn huge turkey vultures hahaha!
That 3rd picture!Very protective mamas. Still haven't left the coop, anytime babies get close to the door mamas hussle them away.View attachment 3863560View attachment 3863561View attachment 3863562View attachment 3863565View attachment 3863566
ooohhh, I like this tax! It not only shows her height, but (quite elegantly/not in your face) shows her fluffy bottom, too!I am on the flight path to a major airport and I like using flightradar24 app to identify the planes coming in to land and where they have come from.
I also get pipeline planes and a bunch of private jets and helicopters.
Last week though there was a drone and that felt quite intrusive. Apparently I am not within my rights to knock it out of the sky. Hope it doesn’t come back.
Air space tax: Bernie appreciates the little paths I cut through the undergrowth for her.
