:old I’m glad that I only have one broody to chicken-sit. The rest of the tribe is normal (if you consider my chooks normal) But be careful how you say “Chicken-sit” :eek:

As my broody Xzit has taught me, I don’t mess with occupied nest boxes. If a hen has occupied one I let them be. (Unless it’s for their health reasons)

Drones who invade the sanctity of a private property, where the reasonable person would consider private; the last thing the drone would see on my property would be the business end of my shotgun. Thankfully no one near me has or can afford a drone! :D

My mistake. She wanted to go home to the coop for the night. I carried her all the way home (she didn’t mind at all)

She might be in for the whole night.

My Dakota decided that she wanted to go inside the house, so I allowed her to come watch tv with me.

I opened up the run to let the little ones out to check out the yard. They all stayed in there instead. I noticed that they probably saw the several cats across the yard. I wasn’t going to leave them alone in the yard, until they grew up some more. But they were all happy staying in the run.

I’m confessing, I went out to the coop, and brought my little Wyandottey into the house. A little rooster bonding time with him today. Later I will spend time with latitude .
