Both of my chickens have bald like patches running from their chest down to their legs, is this normal and if not what should I do about it? I was also wondering if anybody has turkeys (specifically in Provo) I am thinking about getting some in spring, any tips or suggestions?
I am having problems with birds getting into my coop and eating all the chicken feed. I usually just have the door open all the time so that the chickens can get feed and water anytime, but that's how the birds are getting in. Does anybody have suggestions to a way to keep the birds out and...

I went to Cal Ranch yesterday and they had chick cages and everything ready for chicks coming at the end of February. Exciting, I can't wait!!!
And I was wondering if anybody had suggestions of good chick cages.
Looks like they should be alright but, if I were you, get a heat lamp and zip tie tarps onto the chicken wire. That's what I did and my chickens are always warm and dry.
