I don't know the exact date they were hatched but I'm going with some time beginning March ish . He had mentioned that line developed a bit slower ,his breeders are from Greenfire Farms so not sure what characteristics they'd have from those . I just know they are lovely and very relaxed
Geez ya know I named them Bob and Gina because when they were chicks the one on the left looked female . Everyone here said Gina was a he lol I was tending to agree lately but the waddle comb just hasn't been getting dark like the one Anyway long story short I send these pics to the breeder this...

Still really enjoying watching my marans grow up ,there are def my favs in the flock with those beautiful colors .
I also actually really wanted to have a breeding pair of Swedish Flower Hens that was pretty high on my list for a meat bird . But I'm wondering if have two breeding pairs will be a lot of extra work ? I don't really want to get in over my head here ....
@RedBanks I emailed my pic of "Gina" to the breeder and asked him about current development to see what he thought compared to the others . He said he has had some boys that were developing faster than others ,some seemed slow ...his opinion still a chance Gina could be a Gina ...which also...
