Since I did not band my Mallards I have no idea how they reacted to being banded. They never seem to notice them though and have never acted any different after I got them back from the young man that used them for a College experiment. I am glad none of this horror story happened to them...

I have never but two of mine that I let a college student borrow for a summer project for college banded my two Mallards from California. I was glad that he did as I can never confuse them with any of my other ducks that I have raised.

I guess I was used to my Mallards and Khaki Campbells because that was my dead giveaway at just 6 weeks when my Hens were all fair game to them. That is why these Rouen Ducks had me fooled.
