Alphalfa field about a mile from my house, with classic red barn in the distance. Nice sunny day yesterday. Almost 50. It will probably snow next week. This field becomes a cross country ski paradise.

I was going out to the coop and all the chickens started to fly to see me. Barley is a silky so he cannot fly, but he flapped his wings and ran. He thought he was flying too.
I brought some leftovers this morning to the hens. One of the black NN hens was late to the party. She ran fast to make up for that fact. Barley thought she was running to see him and he hopped on top. They got into a fight.
This morning Barley and tomato were standing next to each other, I thought it was cute, then tomato started to peck Barley like crazy. IDk why she got mad at him. I think because he dances around the ladies.
