I have been following your thread....hope your girl is better soon!
My chickens love eggs....scrambled or boiled (then mashed up), cooked oatmeal (not instant), yogurt, apple sauce, can tuna and also small amounts of can cat food.
and blueberries & strawberries are their FAVORITE!
Not sure...
Maybe a photo would help, if possible.
You could also clean/flush with sterile saline (1/4 tsp salt in on quart boiling water for 10 minutes and cool).

Okay I AGREE....watching this one little lonely chick is making me nervous!
I have never seen chicks hatch so thank you for posting the live cam!
But think I will continue letting my momma hens keep them from my view!

I do want to mention: for 2 days after the Wazine I seen more worms in their poop (guess, they are suppose to expel them) but now their poop looks great.
I am still researching the worm issue but guess they need to be re-wormed (not sure if with the Wazine again or a different type of...

Thanks (I love my little silkie crosses) it was really fun....waiting and guessing what the little chicks would look like!
Josie360: I really LIKE your silkie cross....he is gorgeous! (I'm sure he is aware of how handsome he is)
I just recently treated my chickens for roundworms (looks like the worms in your photo) I used the Wazine 17. My chickens were also acting normal and appeared healthy but knew the worms could really make them sick quickly.
This is my first experience with worms so I'm not much help....sorry
Pet only....this little guy was hatched April 1, 2011. He is a mixed breed - silkie crossed with a bantam cochin but he does have the 5 toes on each foot. We hatched too many roo's and would love to find a good home for him. Local pickup - willing to meet half way within reason.

I have searched the internet, ebay & etsy. I am willing to purchase/pay for this so let me know if you have this available in your stash.
But hoping someone here might have this fabric:
Timeless Treasures 2007 Trio C3155 Boho Chic Pink & Black
He really is a cutie...and full of personality! I just wished we could find him a home He needs his own "girls"!
This is 3 times I have posted him....so maybe the 3rd time is a charm

"Baustin" - your hexagon quilt is beautiful! I machine piece my quilts (I don't have the patience to hand piece, LOL)
I have only been quilting since March 2010. The largest quilt I have made is a twin x-long that was for my youngest son that went to college.
Actually, the paper pieced...
I would love to see a photo!

I feel like a dumbie - shouldn't I be sewing on the side of pattern with the lines??? I had watched several videos but one showed sewing on the back side of the Xerox copy....is that correct??
I have to say that the you-tube videos did help alot! I spent several hours yesterday attempting paper-piecing and think I FINALLY got it! But, can't decide if I really like it so think I will try to make a small wall hanging and see how I feel then. I am not willing to give up too soon!
