Hey guys,
I'm located near Portland, OR and we're looking to find a functional redwood incubator (perfect world right?). I've been told that they function much better than any metal or plastic based incubator and surpass them in longevity as well. We've been using Brinsea model incubators and...
**Currently going through some culling of old birds and stock and will not have a large number of birds for sale till around late 2010**
The Domestic Coop is a small hatchery located in Sherwood, Oregon. Salmon Faverolles and Welsummers are our specialty, with some miscellaneous breeds at...
Sounds interesting! I would definitely give those birds a bath and take some pictures of them in the sun. Nothing sells better than a good photograph. The only issue I have is if the rooster is also a "white" faverolle then he is supposed to be all white as well. It looks to me that the breeder...
Are these faverolles true "whites?" There seems to be some color on their muffs and wings. I've had this show up in my faverolles before where I get a recessive "white." They're almost albino but still retain some pigment/shading on their wings and face, almost like they went and rolled in some...
If they're yellow jackets you should put some pieces of meat out, they're extremely attracted to meat.
I agree with the assumption that they're looking for food, I doubt they'll hurt your chicks. You're chicks should be fine, especially since they're 4 weeks old. Sugar water sounds like a good...
What would be an approximate price for shipping a large fowl to Portland, Oregon? I recently bought show Ameraucanas in California, and now my mother wants me to get some more show birds for her because she likes them more than the breeds I show.
Thanks,
Tamsen.
Two lovely and extremely friendly roosters for sale. Cannot ship, and want to sell locally. I won't "auction" the birds on here, if you're interested in adding these birds to your backyard family we can arrange for you to visit the birds. Children are welcome around these roosters. Extremely...
I noticed that you have a white faverolle cock over salmon faverolle hens. I did not find any pictures of these guys are your website. Could you maybe post some? Where did you find your white faverolle?
Thanks,
Tamsen.
Marie, one of my large fowl faverolles.
Marie's mate Louie, before he passed away this summer from heat stroke.
I have a whole bunch more faverolles but have not gotten around taking photos yet.

Very interested in the eggs, they're SOLD if you can answer all my questions.
Do you have any photos of your hens and any adult roos? Also, do you have any problems with stubs showing up in your line? Are you birds NPIP tested?
Thanks,
Tamsen.
If only you were closer or shipped.
Beautiful birds, I hope you find them a home.
Welsummer roos have amazing dispositions by the way, they make amazing petting table birds at the fairs. I've never had one raise a hackle at me.

It maybe an easter egger
I think EE too. Mine was the extra "rare" breed chick from McMurrays in my dad's order last spring. He looked just like that as a baby. His pic is in my avatar. (He ended up becoming an obnoxious roo and later stew:/.)
Looks like a buttercup rooster...
