for anyone still interested, i found a 'cure'. Take listerine and mix it with vaseline. then put that on the faus and it should clear up within a day or three. put it on twice a day. if you want to know more details pm me. i have used it for humans aswell, dogs and ofcourse chickens
before you are able to actually give them any meds, put some apple cider vineger in their water, it odes no harm whatsoever and it helps against resparatory diseases. however, i still recommend you to try the meds aswell.
give her some plain yoghurt it helps boost the immune system in sick chickens adn dhydrates well. it sounds like a heat stroke to me. one of my heat stroked chickens did that the other day.
they could become fat. this causes a high chance for prolapse and heat strokes. i am sure something ate it. but that something was not a chiken. we had something that stole our eggs with no signs of it.
most likely yeah. cuz the feathers only grow back if there is enough protien for them to grow. check under the wings and in between the feathers especially the neck feathers for little bugs. then it is paristites.
could be heat strokes. next time this happens, feed some plain yoghurt. dip them in water, no cold nor warm. this should cool them down wihin some time. if it doest get better they arent having heat strokes
