Oh dear, that’s usually what happens too (both cat and infection), I am trying to be more careful myself, but those darn chicks are the worst! They get right underfoot!
Is there a basic ‘strength’ for Baytril? I.E.: 80mg/ml is in that infant Tylenol I use. Chicken dose is 10mg/kg, and then there would be 20mg in 0.25ml which would dose a 2kg bird.
Just so I know what ask my Vet for (I’ll get some before he heads south).
Hello Homourable Sir Jaffar, I bow down to you (I’ll need help getting up now hahaha), tell your Hooman you wish for him to get some foot feathered Cochins. 😉
I don’t have any issues, but I also have a large barn they are free to roam in all day, they like digging through the horses’ bedding (shavings) which I muck out every morning, so they are likley keeping their feet clean that way.
Just keep their run dry and free of poops and you won’t have...
Feathers, poop, mud, and various other bits and bobs of ‘stuff’…
Wattles!
Yep he’s a he…
But I still love the wee munchkin - he’s such a little turnip 🥰
I want to build something like that. You are giving me some ideas also.
But I too also have a bunch of 2x4s needing to be de-nailed, maybe RC can pop up and do mine once she is finished with hers 😉
The Noirans look hilarious when they run, it’s like they are waddling like a duck! Henny is the same way.
This morning I stepped on Virginie’s foot feathers and she couldn’t walk - I heard this squawking, looked down and realized what happened. Sorry girl! I need to get a photo of them again...
Once again Reenie is up to her old tricks - it freaks me out seeing her eyes open in the dark. And yes it’s pitch dark in there, it only looks light because my stall cam has IR lighting.
Don’t worry she’s alive… upright with four legs and 2 eyes 😉
A family friend tripped over the dog and head first went into the kitchen island.
She walked around in extreme pain for three days before finally going to emerg, an X-ray showed she had fractured her neck! A surgeon was brought in to assess the fracture, in the end they went with a head neck...
Oh no! I am so very sad to hear this, I would say dog rather than fox which would haul at least one off to eat, dogs just kill for fun.
Gosh, sending hugs to you and the kids.
😢😢😢
Fly high wee kiddies, Twister, Princess and the rest are waiting.
