My TS had a couple of these and I was curious what they were also. The employees didn't know either. They said the box was simply labeled "ducks" lol -

I hard boiled a bunch of eggs today. Some had this odd green spot on the yolk but when I would slice it open there appeared to be nothing there. It was on all of my 6 month old KC eggs (hers are much smaller than my rouens) I've never seen this before on any of my other eggs. Is it normal... -

I have 2 Rouens (about 2 years old) and their 3 "babies" who are 7months old however they are Rouen/Pekin Mix, well about a month ago the babies were laying, I was getting 4-5 eggs a day, past couple week I'm only getting 2 eggs, assuming from my Rouens bc they have always laid eggs daily even... -
Can they go outside yet?
IMO I would as long as they are secured. I put mine out younger that than. Even when the lows are in the 50s. I put down extra bedding, didn't use a heat lamp. But that's just me. -

My duck house is in an enclosed run, I close them up in their house each night. Just incase a predator somehow makes it in. -

The child is almost 3, it was an accident and a lesson learned for the child (somewhat at that age) Kids make mistakes or sometimes don't understand the mistakes yet. Things happen....it's life. -

No lol thank god! Bad enough finding the where they buried eggs in the house! I did find one in the pool one day I'm assuming from one of the younger ones. But other that they lay eggs in their house -

Sorry :( Sometimes things just happen. How old is the duck? Maybe try to find it a friend or 2 that are same age before you try rehoming him. -

How often do Pekins lay eggs? My Rouens hatched out 3 Pekin\rouen mixed babies, they are 7 months old. I was getting 4-5 eggs daily once the babies started laying other month, but past couple weeks I'm just down to 2 a day assuming it's from my Rouens bc they lay pretty much daily. -
