    Have any actually died? Maybe they will rebound with all the medicine and care you are providing! I've no idea what it could be, but it sounds like you are doing everything you possibly can.

    Sorry nobody answered your questions! What became of the nest? When my peahen got off her unmatched eggs, she never went back to that nest with her chicks. She made a new nest.

    I keep my silkies in a different coop from my other breed. Silkies like to sleep on the ground huddled up together and other breeds like to roost. I have seen some silkies that roost on this site, but mine do not. If they were to sleep on the ground under roosting hens, they would get pooped on...

    Non bearded pullets get waddles too, so I'm going with both girls. Sometimes they start looking rooish later on though.
