    Anyone one know what kind of fish these are?

    around here (Ohio) we just call them minnows; very small fish that make excellent feeders for larger pond breeds, etc. we have them in our rivers, ponds, lakes, creeks, everywhere! if they get larger than 3 inches long they are probably bass or carp.

    yeah, i wondered the same thing lol but thats the pic that showed up on the e-how page with a description about the parasite..... no idea. all i know is that if i ever find one on a just hatched chick i am going to need some serious therapy afterwords...

    ...the chickens contract it from earthworms they have eaten. maybe one somehow survived in the oviduct of the hen that layed the egg and fed off the chick to get so big? this makes me want to be sick.....and im not a queasy sort of person either...ugh the poor chick... *edit* Found this on...
