I don't know how you got goldens then.
Those are definitely Golden Spangled/Penciled hamburg chicks - mine looked just like them at that age.
Possible the guy is lying?
I would say that the red chick is probably a roo. Any idea what breed they are (If they're all the same breed, I'd definitely figure the red as a roo because of the comb difference)? That might help.
Either way, you have some fabulous chickies there
Because plugged in devices that aren't school-related apparently aren't allowed, though I could probably get an exception.
It would need to be small though.
I've heard of car batteries being used to run incubators, but that seems like it might be a bit much.
Basically, I've been given permission to incubate eggs over the weekdays in my dorm room (I am a high-school student, and a five-day boarder at my school) since my parents won't watch them. I...
What makes it worse is that I was recently given an "Ameraucana" rooster who had been shot in the foot by a woman who had been trying to make dinner out of him but didn't quite know how to humanely kill him. So he ended up on my doorstep bleeding to death and when I asked the lady next door she...
I'm looking for a roo to show for either 4H or any other poultry shows that may come to town, and I figured that most people may not be reliable (I'm a newbie, so I'm not particularly savvy with knowing what makes a rooster "Show quality") and I don't think they'd tell me if he wasn't. So I was...
Is the roo show quality? And can he be sold separately? He's just lovely. :3 Also, sorry for the multiple questions - but would you ship to Washington state?
I live not far from you in Washington, pickup is possible and I am very interested in him.
Do you know if he is show quality? He is definitely a pretty boy. Hatchery or breeder? The reason I ask is because I was looking for a nice young roo to show in the fair next year.
Send pic to [email protected]?
I'd love to see him.
Is he show quality? I'm looking for a roo that could be shown in the fair. :3
( I live in Washington so pickup would be preferred )
Wow that's a gorgeous EE roo, Okie Amazon.
Also, does anyone think my boy would be show quality for the fair? I wanted to show him but now I'm not so sure he's up-to-par.
Is he pretty/flashy enough?
I want a purebred, show-quality roo with a docile disposition that I can show in the fair next year.
I live in Cle Elum Washington and would prefer a local pick-up over shipping.
I would prefer a standard breed over a bantam and I am partial to Faverolles, Brahma and Marans. Any breed, however...
