I have a 3 year old bantam wyandotte who got a bacterial infection almost 2 weeks ago, and then was on an antibiotic for 7 days. (She is still currently inside in a kennel) She still won’t eat or drink on her own, and she doesn’t move around in her cage at all, spending most of her day with her...
Any help is appreciated!
I went outside to see my chickens today, and I noticed my 3 year old bantam wyandotte was hunched over and one of her eyes is swollen shut. The other is partially shut but she can still see out of it. She is pretty much not moving, but is moving her head in a consistent...
They are very reasonably priced. $20 for one single hen. I also know they are pretty nice birds with no dq’s, because they one the RCCL class at my state fair last year. I know the breeder, and I also know the line they are from. I think I’m gonna buy!
He’s pretty big, but not that large compared to some other langshans that I have seen. However, I also have an ancona rooster in that same pen (with 15 hens) so if he picks her, it would be fine. I will just trim the langshans nails and spurs.
Hi! I was wondering if anyone has housed wyandotte bantams witt other large fowl chickens? Do they go well together? I go have a large langshan rooster and I don’t know if it would be bad him mating with the hen. Thanks!
I have a broody duck that had been setting on a collection of duck and chicken eggs for a while. I don’t know the exact date but around 20 days probably. Is one hatching or did she crush it? All the other eggs (10) are fine.

Someone please help, a few days ago i noticed some mulberry colors dots on some on my pullets comb and wattles. So i looked at more roosters and noticed tons of these odd dots under the back of his comb. What is this and how is it treated?
I have a trio of ducks, 2 females, 1 male. I caught my drake trying to mate 2 of my hens (just pulling at the neck not sure if he ever mounted) I know that the duck can hurt the hen, so how do i stop him from doing that? I would like to keep them free ranging together.
