Thank you for the info. I don’t plan to breed it, but I do want to get it a couple of companions. I’m in Alaska so my options are slim. There’s someone local with blue slates hatching now so I’ll likely go that route. I’m okay with just calling it a black turkey.
I'd like some feedback from anyone that has built it. Thanks

She is probably one of their Prarie Bluebell colored egg layers. They don't have uniform or standard colors. The legs aren't green, but that's my best guess.
Hi there,
I am thinking of what path to go with for my nesting boxes. In my previous coop, I walked into the feed storage room and the nest boxes were in the dividing wall between the chicken space and the storage, so I didn't have to go into the coop to collect eggs. They had holes in the back...
I was out of the chicken world for a little bit, and now that I’m back there seems to be 20 or more new hybrid breeds! The new craze here in Alaska is the Dominant Copper breed, I was curious if anyone here has raised any, and what they look like as adults and how their egg color is holding up...
Hi, I'm in Alaska and I'm looking for BBS Australorp eggs. Shipping eggs is obviously at your own risk no matter what, but I feel better if they're at least starting their journey a little closer to me.
Does anyone know have any they'd like to sell, or know someone they can refer me to? Thanks!
Hello, I'd love to buy some eggs from you, I'm in Alaska, my zip code is 99645, would you be able to do that, and what would shipping be, if so? Thanks!
A handful of the True Blues I received from McMurray on Wednesday. They all arrived alive and very vigorous. I also ordered a large batch of BLRW and every one of them developed pasty butt, the True Blues didn't.
Both of these breeds are in such a demand here in AK I sold every one of them...
I would love some big, beautiful, BBS Cochin hatching eggs. I used to have some Urch line beauties, but that's been a while. I haven't seen anything that compares but I live in Alaska and pickins are slim!
